Board Meeting Minutes: June 9, 2026
7:00 pm Moore Beach
Board Members:
Present: P. Anthony, C. Castrogiovanni, J. Cragin, R. Cyr, R. Frey, L. Gezelman, S. Manafort, J. McNeill, C. Scully.
Absent: M Duchow, A.J. Singh.
Quorum present? Yes
Proceedings:
- Meeting called to order at 6:57 pm by President, L. Gezelman.
- Motion to approve the meeting minutes for May made by S. Manafort. Seconded by J. McNeill. Motion passed.
- Board President L. Gezelman called for items of new business.
Treasurer’s Report : Report presented and will be placed on record.
Tax Collector Report: Report presented and will be placed on record.
Lake Report: Second treatment will be June 12th.
Event Committee Report: See new business.
Old Business:
-Road repairs around the lake have all been completed and are functioning well.
-Tree removal has been completed in various locations.
New Business:
-R. Cyr gave trail updates. All new common area trail posts are in outside of one by Rio Rd. This will be completed soon. Work on the trail on Silver Dr has been completed with mulch/wood chips. Additional work, labeling, mulching and leveling of trails has also been completed.
-Upcoming event: Treasure/scavenger hunt starting at Silver Lane on Saturday the 27th of June at 10am.
-On the 5th of July at 2pm. The pollinator pathway group will gather to learn about the native plants we’ve been planting.
-on June 22nd – July 6th the President will be out of the country. The Vice President will be the point of contact in the absence.
-Our erosion project engineer passed away unexpectedly. We will wait a period of time before reaching out to the company to discuss the future of the project. Motion made to plant a tree and have a sign made in his memory by R. Cyr. Second by J. McNeill. Motion passed.
Public Comment:
M. Simard commented on grass being cut to close to lake. It has been remedied. She also inquired about sealing of the new boardwalk. It will be done in the next few months.
An inquiry about the town sidewalk project. It is currently at a standstill.
Motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:36pm by J. Cragin. Seconded by R. Cyr. Motion passed.
Next meeting will be held at Children’s Beach on July 14th, 2026
