Treasurer’s report – (see attached) Good year for collections, with large checks coming back
Tax collector’s report – (see attached) $150 request for funds for letterhead. Discussion: use letterhead that can be printed out. An additional approximately $4,000 collected, 64 still delinquent. BC -lowest since George Wallace on board, “just extraordinary.” Lien activity –tabled.
Old Business
Encroachment\survey committee – needs to start back up and get organized. MA will get maps, info for the survey committee and move forward.
Unauthorized use of LGIA property – Lee will send letters to two properties using LGIA property for unauthorized storage or disposal. Monce Road – brush. Lake Garda Drive – equipment. OL will create template letters for use for situations such as this.
Lawsuit re conflict of interest – Byrnes family stated intent to sue BC\board for conflict of interest – what is impact of that? CB – no immediate action planned. AJ – Wait until acted on. MA -board insurance, if lawsuit brought.
LGIA property surveys – Towns don’t know what’s within the LGIA property lines – Farmington & Burlington do not have maps & therefore their P&Zs do not refer applicants to LGIA board. If LGIA had manager or representative for meetings this might help address. Tabled
Road repairs – Mountain RD needs chip seal next year, Dover Road is done.
Website update – site is live. Content management – who will do it?
Beach disturbances\closures – Moore Beach entrance now chained. Chain needs to go up at eight acres. LG will get a lock for it.
New Business
Lien – House in foreclosure. Person up to date with dues, but has lien. Motion to forgive $75 lien fee. LG/RS Unanimous.
Proposal for School St. drain issue – one proposal from .JC Snyder civil engineering, should board seek another proposal from Hodge Surveying? BC – we have no legal obligation to do anything. The drainage changed due to removal of riprap so water drains towards C. Byrnes property. JC – solution to protect School St. BC, only affects one person, no need to call Hodge. JC will get more info. Tabled
Resident information – Need to order more blue books. No action at this time.
Lake treatment – BC & JC will look at the cove adjacent to Simard property and report back. Spatterdock is knocked out, due to lake treatment lily pads at about a quarter of the usual amount.
